The Runaway Pancake

The pancake jumped over the fence and into the pen...the pig snapped him up and swallowed him...

   Today I read The Runaway Pancake. The pancake wouldn't eaten by anybody so he runaway the  family and encountered animals so he run fast hard but last of story a pig easy eat him. I thought most pitiful is family because they are very poor and always hungry and they take something them dishes by pig. I like a pig very much but the story's pig is hate.

snoozing : 転寝する　居眠りする
kennel : 犬小屋
bushes : 低木
gasped : 息切れ
snapped : ぱちんと鳴らす
swallowed : 飲み込む
gulp : ぐいぐい飲む　急いで食べる
